Majorca (Spain)

As diverse as the scenery on Majorca is the nightlife on the island: ranging from hot nightclubs to romantic candlelit dinners, everything is possible here.
Situated in the southeast of the island on the long-spanning bay of Palma, S'Arenal is the most famous party centre. Countless bars, beer gardens, clubs and discos await joyful night-time revellers here: there is even an Alpine atmosphere with enchanting ski chalets to be enjoyed here beneath the southern sun. However, other holiday resorts await guests with their range of nightclubs and bars.
The inhabitants of the capital city and their guests prefer to meet in the bar quarter La Llotja, which surround the old stock exchange. It is here where the greatest density of cosy tapas bars, elegant nightclubs and trendy cocktail bars are to be found in Palma. Restaurants serving up delectable Majorcan cuisine are also to be discovered everywhere here.
Romantics and gourmets are recommended to take a trip inland to a number of first-rate restaurants. In lovingly restored fincas or old oil mills, such establishments spoil their guests by partaking in the art of cooking, for example, at the El Olivo in Deía or El Patio on the approach to Port d'Andratx.
