The wide range of bars, nightclubs, clubs with live acts, pubs and restaurants ensures that Fethiye's old town is the most happening place for night-time revellers in the whole region.
In the evenings, liveliness life and high spirits reign in the narrow alleys in the town centre. In addition to the various shops that are open, late into the evening, the doors of bars and restaurants are swung open to accommodate visitors seeking amusement. Especially well loved are Bar Yasmin and the Yes dance bar for a sociable atmosphere and dancing. The nightclub Letoonia draws in a mainly younger clientele, whereas those a little older may prefer the oriental atmosphere in Otantik, where visitors are able to enjoy Turkish music and water pipes.
For a good start to the evening guests are advised to visit a good restaurant, either on the harbour or one of the lively alleys in the old town. For more than 50 years, the Rafet Restaurant on the promenade has proved a great place to dine, serving predominantly Turkish and fish specialities. Those who enjoy Turkish starters will feel particularly at home in the Megri Restaurant in the bazaar quarter.
