Dalmatian Coast (Croatia)

As night draws in in Dalmatia, the bars and restaurants begin to liven up. With a glass of wine and accompaniment of live music, visitors may watch the day peacefully fade into night-time. Also night-time revellers on the lookout for somewhere to dance will discover exactly that.
Dubrovnik offers Bourbon Street that lies slightly off the beaten track on the mountainside and boasts various bars and a friendly atmosphere to enjoy before heading for the Sun City Nightclub that is located downtown. The artists' pub, Troubadour, is undoubtedly one of the town's best-loved venues. Some of the finest Southern Jazz from the 1950's may be enjoyed here in a cosy atmosphere. Summery evenings during the cultural summer in Split, Zadar and other Dalmatian towns are embellished with open-air classical concerts, jazz evenings and opera performances.
A visit to Split is not complete without a visit to Café Luxor; located in impressive Diocletian's Palace where the Roman Emperor held his receptions 1,700 years ago.
